Pure Silk Saree

Pure silk means that the only fiber in the fabric is silk, made by silk worms, not chemically produced or artificial. Pure silk sarees are made with pure silk and no other material is mixed. They are rich in look and lightweight. Mostly preferred for special occasions. They are very expensive than soft silk sarees. They come in different colours and designs. Silk is a natural protein fibre, some forms of which can be woven into textiles. The protein fibre of silk is composed mainly of fibroin and is produced by certain insect larvae to form cocoons. Raw Silk is called 'paat', 'resham' or 'pattu' in Eastern India. It is the most natural form of silk that can be directly woven into a variety of fabrics.
